MEET OUR BAD LEARNER
Ishani is a certified Instructional Designer or E-Learning Designer, and she recently finished her Master's in Education and Development with a special focus on Technology at the Institute of Education (IOE), University College of London (UCL). UCL's Institute of Education is ranked 1 in the Global QS rankings of Education departments. Her thesis focused on how immersive and interactive learning experiences in higher educational institutes can enhance graduate employability. She also holds a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with a major in Politics from King's College London. She has worked with insurance companies (AIA) Policy Bazaar, TATA AIA , international organizations (UNDP), and startups (Level up Academy, Sustainr). Previously, Ishani worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she focused on creating e-learning content, skill training programs for women, and India's largest water conservation project.
, Alongside Skillopp, Ishani has also created a digital platform called "Sustainr," which is a combined network and marketplace that educates SMEs (Small Business Enterprises) on becoming sustainable by connecting them to the right resources. This initiative has been recognised by UCL Enterprise. Sustainr was recently selected as a semi-finalist in the London Mayor's Entrepreneurs Competition (Tech Category). Her initiative has educated more than 40 businesses on sustainability and maximized clients' educational returns by harnessing more than 12+ global and domestic partnerships with sustainable alternatives within 1 month.
In her work, Ishani focuses on creating immersive learning experiences and content that combines elements of technology and sustainability. Her goal is to enhance the value of organizations by creating a safe space for employees to practice their skills using interactive software such as games, user-friendly LMSs, flexible learning, and collaborative tools. Her main mission and vision are to enhance human capacity by making programs as efficient as possible through simplification in conjunction with the theory of change present in the organization.
